Cultures & Cooking-Medieval

Come and learn a little about a new culture and taste some delicious food from that culture as well. Each 4th Wednesday of the month features a different culture. This month we will get to taste Medieval food.
This month we will focus on Medieval cooking, with leeks and sops, chicken with verjuice, and for dessert, poached pears in spiced syrup. Erik Berthoud, who spent his graduate school time in Scotland studying all things Medieval, brings much to this table.
A $5 ingredient fee will be collected at the door.
